How do the belgian trappist beers taste?

Orval

Orval

Named after the source where legend has it that a Tuscan princess lost her wedding ring in 1076. A trout brought the ring to the surface and as a thank you she had an abbey built there. The logo on the bottles still reminds us of this legend. Orval is a full-bodied, intensely bitter amber beer with a number of fruity elements from artisanal hop varieties and sugar candy.
